Local Elementary Students Learn about Computers
Today’s fast-moving society makes it increasingly important for people, especially youth, to understand what is happening in the wider
world. The vision of the ‘OUTREACH’ program is to allow the maximized use of ICT resources by using MORMS as a ‘central hub’ of ICT
learning to underprivileged youth in our region and to provide ICT learning experience to rural schools and computer training courses
within our school district.
“Student Assisting Students” is a computer literacy workshop which will help young pupils from the Guinobatan area gain basic
knowledge in computer operation in order for them to be globally competitive
when it comes to information and communication technology and to allow students who are currently attending MORMS to help their
community by sharing their knowledge. The program covers computer basics, basic keyboard and mouse operation, basic word processing
and basic internet access.
